The vision for Women for Jesus International started in 2021 when the Lord laid it on the heart of our convener that there were people outside her local assembly, He wanted her to reach out to. She did not quite understand how the vision would be accomplished. However, on the first day of 2022, she sent new year greetings to one of her mentors and he called and asked what she wanted the Lord to do for her that year. She told him she wanted God to reveal his plan and purpose for her life. He immediately replied, and said, the Lord said He had already told her what to do. Immediately, she recalled what God had told her earlier about reaching out to women outside her church. It was then she realized it was a definite call and assignment from the Lord.

In July 2022, we held the inaugural outreach via zoom. We later started a monthly outreach tagged “One Hour in His Presence”, where we pray and focus on different topics tailored towards empowering women to fulfill their purpose in life. Women are the bedrock of the family and of the society. Our mission is to raise Godly, Powerful and Resourceful women that can act as change agents for Christ in their families, and in the society.

As we embark on this journey of faith, we trust the Lord to lead us to women that will be discipled and empowered to impact their generation for Christ. The Lord has promised good concerning us and we dare to stand on His promise. We believe His word…. “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time” Isaiah 60:22
